Basingstoke Gateway, Oakdown Farm

Newlands Developments has submitted a planning application to Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council for Basingstoke Gateway, a high-quality new logistics and employment space at the Oakdown Farm site, off J7 on the M3. The application reference number is 23/03120/FUL.

Welcome

Newlands is proud to share revised proposals for Basingstoke Gateway at the Oakdown Farm site to provide much-needed storage and distribution space for the Borough.

Newlands has responded positively to the previous Appeal Inspector’s comments and is bringing forward a full planning application for critical supply chain infrastructure. This is made up of eight high-quality, environmentally sustainable buildings, embedded within generous landscaped areas, that will assist the Council in satisfying a longstanding and growing unmet need for this use in a strategic and highly accessible location.

Newlands has undertaken public consultation on these proposals throughout November 2023. You can still view the proposals and talk to the project team via this website. We would like to thank all those who have provided feedback.
